About Us

At Roam Healthcare, we’re passionate about helping you move freely, live without pain, and get back to doing what you love. We understand how frustrating it can be when pain, injury, or health conditions make daily activities difficult—whether that’s spending time with family, playing with your kids, enjoying the outdoors, or even just getting through your daily routine.

We do more than just treat symptoms — we dig deeper to find the root cause of your pain. Through a thorough assessment, we create a personalised treatment plan that fits you — your lifestyle, your goals, and your needs. Because we get it — life gets busy, and your recovery plan should work with your life, not against it.

Our team of experienced Exercise Physiologists specialises in treating musculoskeletal pain and injuries, or metabolic conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure. Through evidence-based exercise physiology and rehabilitation, we create personalised treatment plans to help you recover, regain strength, and improve your overall quality of life.

Whether your goal is to hike, camp, run, swim, ride, or simply move pain-free, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Roam freely. Live fully.

Bevan Chen – Accredited Exercise Physiologist

( English / Mandarin 普通話 )

Bevan’s all about helping people get back to doing what they love—whether that’s exploring the outdoors, playing with the kids, or just moving through everyday life with more ease and confidence. As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, he focuses on creating simple, sustainable treatment plans that are tailored to you and your goals.

He’s worked with people of all ages, from kids to older adults, helping them manage different health conditions, recover from injuries, and build strength. His mission? To make sure you feel stronger, move better, and get back to living life the way you want to—sooner rather than later.

When Bevan’s not in the clinic, you’ll probably find him camping, 4WDing, or out on his motorcycle, soaking up the outdoors. He knows how important it is to stay active and enjoy life, and that’s exactly what he wants for his clients too.

About Bevan's journey

What is an Exercise Physiologist?

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a health professional who uses exercise as medicine to help people manage chronic conditions, recover from injuries, and improve their overall health and fitness. With university-level training in exercise science, AEPs create personalised exercise programs that are safe, effective, and tailored to your unique needs and goals.

They take a holistic approach, looking at your physical health, lifestyle, and mindset to design plans that not only help you move better but also feel better. Whether it’s managing a health condition, getting back on your feet after an injury, or simply wanting to feel stronger and more active, an AEP is here to support you every step of the way.

How can an Exercise Physiologist help?

  • Manage chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, or osteoporosis

  • Recover from injuries or surgeries with safe, guided rehab

  • Boost strength, fitness, and mobility at any age or ability

  • Improve sports performance and reduce the risk of injuries

  • Create healthy habits and achieve long-term health goals

No matter where you are on your health journey, an Exercise Physiologist can help you get moving, feel stronger, and get back to doing what you love.
